MAKE UP FOREVER

Aqua Rouge (No. 20)

Working as an air stewardess is equal to wearing good make up. Until 2 years of my flying career, I had not been satisfied with one thing: my lipstick.

I always had problems such as lipsticks / lip colors which would crack my lips, transfer to my teeth, go out of the lip line, settle into lip cracks and also do not very lasting.

During a busy flight, I really have no time to touch up or look into the mirror to check if there is any stain on my teeth. The only time I would have known, most of the time was when my colleague..or worse, the passenger notified me about it. =___=

And so today I headed to Sephora to look around and I spotted this MUFE Aqua Rouge. I have never tried MUFE products before, but this particular lip color enticed me to try on.

MUFE's promises are to give you long lasting, waterproof and non sticky lip.

So I quickly erased my lipgloss (I always love sephora as they provide make up remover and cotton pads to make your try on session kinda easier) and grabbed two of the 20 colors offered, I was in a pink mood so I took no. 20 and 21.

My first impression about this product was, it is very pigmented, the color side will give you matte finish and then you can gloss it over with the clear side. It was comfortable to wear,  it was really not sticky on the lips and it didn't settle to the lip cracks! It applied very evenly.

I didn't immediately pull my wallet though. I wanted to test the product first, I went to eat and walk around the mall for a few hours and there this aqua rouge was still there, no smudge, no fading. So yea..I headed back to Sephora and brought home no. 20.

By the time I write this, I still haven't taken this baby on board, I will update you about that very soon.

So far I am a happy girl with MUFE Aqua Rouge, and I do fall in love with no. 20. It is a lovely baby pink! All the pictures taken are of me wearing no. 20.

PAC (by Martha Tilaar) : Gorgeous Liquid Lip Color in Pink Blast, Angz's New Favourite!

Recently I went to a mall in Surabaya, Indonesia. During my stroll, I found a small store of local brand cosmetics, Martha Tilaar. I've heard from some friends that this brand is pretty popular in Indonesia, they have some sub-brands from what I've seen on the store, I saw PAC, Sari Ayu, Caring Colors and some others I could not clearly remember.

I was immediately caught up with PAC, it is a range of make-ups for professional artists. PAC has nice range of eye shadows (in form of cake and powder) and lip colors (normal lipstick and liquid). Since I am not much of eye shadows (I mostly only use black eye liner and mascara), I decided to pick one of the GORGEOUS LIQUID LIP COLOR that is Pink Blast color.

From what I've read from PAC site, this product claims to give you LONG LASTING MAXIMUM GLOSSY EFFECT.

Ingredients: Polybutene, PVP Hexadecene Copolymer, Phenyltrimethicone, Microcrystalline Wax, Hydrogenated Polydcene, Octyl Methoxycinnamate, Octyldodecanol, Irvingia Gabonensis Kernel Butter, Hydrogenated Coco-Glycerides, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Water, Chammomila Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Water, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oli, Trideceth-9, Bisabolol, Propylene Glycol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Retinyl Palmitate, Propylparaben, Fragrance.

Price: about 90,000 rupiah (around USD 80)
Where I bought it: Plaza Surabaya, Ground Floor

That is the picture of the babe. For me, this one is quite a rave. I put it above my (transparent) lip balm (Oriflame's Tender Care) and this liquid lip color can give me fresh, wet looking lips through out the day. Altough this one called Pink Blast, for me it is not a pink at all, more strawberry red. The color might look too strong at first when I apply it, but it will settle to natural fresh reddish color that I LOVE so much.

And, I also use this to color my cheeks, two or three dots from the brush, and I can spread it to dewy lovely blush.

This is the picture when I used the lip color on both my lips and cheeks! (I hope you can see the blush, it looks kind of pale in the picture)

This one is the closer look of the lip color on my lips... (pardon my sassy nose)

I really love this lip color, and it immediately became my favorite...
