MAKE UP FOREVER

Aqua Rouge (No. 20)

Working as an air stewardess is equal to wearing good make up. Until 2 years of my flying career, I had not been satisfied with one thing: my lipstick.

I always had problems such as lipsticks / lip colors which would crack my lips, transfer to my teeth, go out of the lip line, settle into lip cracks and also do not very lasting.

During a busy flight, I really have no time to touch up or look into the mirror to check if there is any stain on my teeth. The only time I would have known, most of the time was when my colleague..or worse, the passenger notified me about it. =___=

And so today I headed to Sephora to look around and I spotted this MUFE Aqua Rouge. I have never tried MUFE products before, but this particular lip color enticed me to try on.

MUFE's promises are to give you long lasting, waterproof and non sticky lip.

So I quickly erased my lipgloss (I always love sephora as they provide make up remover and cotton pads to make your try on session kinda easier) and grabbed two of the 20 colors offered, I was in a pink mood so I took no. 20 and 21.

My first impression about this product was, it is very pigmented, the color side will give you matte finish and then you can gloss it over with the clear side. It was comfortable to wear,  it was really not sticky on the lips and it didn't settle to the lip cracks! It applied very evenly.

I didn't immediately pull my wallet though. I wanted to test the product first, I went to eat and walk around the mall for a few hours and there this aqua rouge was still there, no smudge, no fading. So yea..I headed back to Sephora and brought home no. 20.

By the time I write this, I still haven't taken this baby on board, I will update you about that very soon.

So far I am a happy girl with MUFE Aqua Rouge, and I do fall in love with no. 20. It is a lovely baby pink! All the pictures taken are of me wearing no. 20.

(TONY MOLY) Cat Chu Wink Lip Stick in Coral Pop 04

Wow..it's been a loooong time since my last post. And today..finally I found my writting motivation back. Thanks to this Blogger app which is so handy dandy and Tony Moly with their cute Cat Wink range.

It's been awhile since I first spotted a Tony Moly counter in Surabaya. Then today I decided to pay them a visit after I read some nice reviews about their products. My initial intention was to find the cc cream, but somehow, the cream was still not available here. Then I browsed around and the Cat Wink goods caught my attention.

The compact powder was the cutest amongst them all. But I was not in the mood for powders. Then I tried on the lip stick...and...I FELL IN LOVE...with the Coral Pop shade (number 4).

I've been trying to find a lip color which can help my face to look FRESH without being too bold. So far the corals I have are either too strong or too damn natural to the point it is unnoticable.

I am going to post the swatch of this lip stick soon. Just not now as I am still admiring the 'new look'. Hee...

For your information, if you are in Surabaya, Indonesia, you can find Tony Moly at Matahari Department Store, Tunjungan Plaza.

My One and Only, Skin Food Candy Moist Rouge Lipstick, 602 (Angz's review)

These days I am quite absorbed in eyeing (a bit drooling also..pardon me) about Skin Food's product..why? Because they are so very sweetly packed, nicely scented, and most are working well on me.

Now I would like to share my experience with Skin Food's Candy Moist Rouge lipstick. Yes it is moist, yes it is glossy as it is rouge and smells like candy. I got myself number 602, I can describe it as orange peachy in color. The texture is creamy and for me, the color is strong enough I need to put lip concealer under it to make it softer.

My suggestion is, you may wear  lip color when your lips is in good condition (not chapped / dry), if needed be, you need to scuff your lips first. Well, I will only use lipstick when my lippie is in very smooth condition, other than that, the lipstick will not be able to make me pretty, it will make my look worse.. (you know how lipsticks tends to color the cracks more than any other area). I prefer transparent lip balm / gloss when I need to go out and my lippie are not in maximum condition.
This is my picture with the Skin Food's Candy Moist Rouge. I put lip concealer under it and a sheen of additional lip gloss.

The staying power is satisfying enough, I never have any need to do lips touch up with this lipstick. But of course, each girl has different activities and conditions.

Conclusion: I am happy enough with this lip color.

Please feel free to share your experience too..
Thanks for reading!
